Tessa von Huben, 
Physiotherapist

Clinic owner

Tess and partner Tom grew up in Raglan and have remained extremely passionate about the community and the services they provide. Having completed a Masters degree, Post-graduate certificate in Acupuncture, Advanced Pelvic health training, and Pilates certification, Tess has a wide range of knowledge and skills to effectively assess and treat any and all individuals. She has also completed training in Cosmetic Acupuncture, Vestibular rehab and Concussion. Tess has a hands on approach in the clinic, the rehab room and on the reformer. Tess is also an Advanced Pelvic health Physiotherapist working with women before and after childbirth as well as treating women and men experiencing low back or pelvic pain, incontinence or other pelvic health issues including pelvic organ prolapse. When not in the clinic you will find Tess in the water, running the trails around Raglan or adventuring outdoors with Tom and three children.

Sam Lowes,

Physiotherapist

Sam has worked in hospital and outpatient settings in areas including intensive care, respiratory, orthopaedics and finally specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He has a special interest in adapting strength and conditioning principles for rehabilitation. Sam has completed post-graduate training in Pilates, Manipulative therapy, Dry needling and Acupuncture. He utilises the reformer for 1:1 rehabilitation along with teaching mat classes in the community. Sam runs the popular strength and conditioning classes specifically designed for males and surfers and is now running additional classes open to all. Outside of the clinic you might spot Sam in the surf, running the Maunga or enjoying time with his wife and three children. â€‹

Chloe Peacocke,
Physiotherapist

Chloe graduated from AUT University in 2015. She began her career at Waikato Hospital and worked across a number of areas including; inpatient rehabilitation, orthopaedics, burns, outpatients and respiratory. For the last few years Chloe has worked in the community with people of all ages and walks of life. Chloe is passionate about helping her clients improve their health and return to the things they enjoy. She has a strong interest in neurological conditions and neurological rehab and has completed training in Bobath, Vestibular rehabilitation and Concussion. Chloe has three young children and loves spending time with her family and friends.

JP Bourque,
Physiotherapist

JP began his Physiotherapy career in Canada in 2009, specialising in orthopaedic manual therapy and sports rehabilitation. He later went on to gain experience within hospital, outpatient and community settings in Wales (UK) and New Zealand.  JP has a particular interest in health and longevity. He values a holistic approach combining hands on therapy with functional strengthening and mobility development.  In his spare time he can be found in the surf, enjoying beach life or at the skatepark /pump track with his family.

Kendal de Besten,
Physiotherapist

Kendal grew up in Raglan and after 11 years of living and working in Auckland, she has come back to immerse herself in the Raglan community. Kendal began her career working with rugby and football teams. She has a lot of experience managing sporting injuries whether it be through the season or getting you back into a sport or hobby you enjoy. Kendal is trained in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and works with women before and after childbirth as well as treating women with pelvic pain, incontinence or other pelvic health issues including pelvic organ prolapse. When not at work, Kendal will either be at the beach, climbing Karioi, or running around town.

Elena Pulido Hidalgo,
Acupuncturist
Therapist

A Spanish-trained Physiotherapist, Elena is originally from a small town located in the Mediterranean coast of Spain. Gaining experience in both hospitals and private clinics, Elena realises that well being is achieved with a holistic vision and comprehensive care of the person. For this reason she has been training over the years in different disciplines such as Traditional Acupuncture, Energetic Informational Osteopathy, Yoga (including Pregnancy Yoga) and, at the moment, Clinical Nutrition. She offers a wide range of techniques such as Acupuncture, Kinesio taping, Myofascial relief, Hot stone massage, Trigger point and personalised Yoga lessons, as well as good advice. Outside of the clinic Elena loves to be by the ocean, walking the Karioi or practising and sharing her passion for Yoga.

Simone Carter,
Admin and Reception 

Simone is the bright and cheerful face you will most frequently meet at reception.  She is originally from Brazil but has lived abroad for over 20 years, spending time in the UK and Australia before settling back in Raglan with her Kiwi family. Simone's husband Tim is a long time local resident so naturally the family was drawn back to Raglan.  When not at the clinic Simone can usually be found running her own gorgeous Activewear brand business or enjoying the beach and all the beautiful spots in Raglan with her kids, husband, friends and dog.
