PILATES CLASSES 

Whaingaroa Physiotherapy - Raglan 

Founded by Joseph Pilates, modern Pilate’s classes are still based on Joseph’s techniques and principals but mixed with modern exercise advancements created by professionals.  

Pilates is well known for its success in helping relieve spinal pain and strengthening the core.  That is why it makes sense that physiotherapists run Pilates classes as it complements the rehabilitation process for many of our clients.  

In fact, Pilates is known to increase performance in sporting and recreational activities too and can even help with that tricky pelvic floor or during pregnancy and after giving birth.  Pilates is not just for women, men have just as much need of Pilates exercises as women.  

Technique is of upmost importance with Pilates and that why it is so important to have a properly trained instructor. The team at Whaingaroa Physiotherapy are trained in STOTT and PoleStar repertoires to provide the highest standard in classes.  With our qualified and trained physiotherapists running the classes, you can be rest assured that you are in the best hands.

Bookings are essential and can be made at Whaingaroa Physiotherapy clinic. Whaingaroa Physiotherapy currently runs three classes per week.  

Pilates class timetable:  Tuesday 11.00am - 12.00am at the Yoga Loft in Wallis Street, 6.00pm - 7.00pm at Scout Hall in Cliff Street, and Thursday 5.45pm - 6.45pm the Space in Volcom Lane off Bow Street.
